The Health is Wealth and no other Wealth is better than Health. Therefore we should be engaged in good work practices and avoid ill health as much as possible. The over weight in the Human Body in other words the “Obesity” has become a major health problem in the present society. According to the Reports of the World Health Organization (WHO) 20 % of people in the World are suffering from the Obesity.  Many people do not take much care about this problem and ultimately they would have to undergo a hardship to face the intolerable problems caused by this obesity problem. The Body Mass Index (BMI) is a calculation used to determine your body fat. In some cases it can help a Doctor to determine your overall fitness and your risk of developing a chronic disease. Keeping the BMI in normal position plays a key role in maintaining your Body Weight in a normal position.

What causes the Body Over-Weight?

A number of factors can play a role in weight gain. These include Diet, Lack of Exercises, factors in a person’s environment and genetics.

Diet (Food and Activity )

The weight gain is predominantly based on the foods we take. People get much weight when they consume more calories than they burn through activity. This imbalance causes the weight gain in the human body and many people do not take much care about this matter and they take much more calories than burned, due to lack of exercises.  Day by day these excessive calories start to be stored in the Body causing the over –weight having an abnormal BMI rate .

Lack of Exercises.

Lack of Exercises also plays an important role in the obesity. The calories we take should be burned in a balanced way and if not such calories would be stored in our body causing the Obesity. In the modern world many people do not have much time to do some regular exercises due to their busy schedule . But the outcome is very dangerous as the Obesity can cause even chronic heart diseases which can even bring the Death to some people. So people should allocate some time for regular exercises despite the fact that they have busy schedule. If people are ill fated the will be unable to fulfill their busy schedule as unhealthy people are unable to work hard. So the People should be enlightened the importance of regular exercises.

Environment

The environment around us influences the possibility to maintain a healthy weight. The following factors explain the effects of environmental problems which cause the weight abnormalities.

  1. Lack of having sufficient area parks, sidewalks and affordable Gyms makes it hard for people to be physically active.
  • Over-sized and packed artificial foods contain an excessive amount of calorie which instantly increase the weight of the Human Body , even if the people are involved in regular exercises.
  • Due to the financial constraints of the People , many of them are unable to purchase some fresh fruits and vegetables which are essential to keep a good BMI.
  • The people are always encouraged to buy unhealthy foods by the advertisements by which they tend to purchase high-fat snacks and sugary drinks which are much unhealthy and hazardous to the human body.

Genetics.

According to the recent researches of WHO (World Health Organization) the Genetics play a significant role in obesity. The Genetics can directly cause Obesity in such disorders as Prader-willi –syndrome. According to the scientists the Genetics may increase a person’s likelihood of becoming obese but regular exercise and control of food intake can assist the person to reach a normal BMI with the proper path paying of the Medical Professionals.

The Importance of keeping a normal Body Weight .

Many people are usually unaware of the importance of keeping their body weight in a normal position. As I mentioned at the beginning the BMI is the main measurement the Doctors use to determine one’s body weight. Theoretically , if you are in normal Body Weight your BMI rate should be between 18.5 and 24.9. If your BMI is below 18.5 then you should be underweight and if it is above 24.9 then you are suffering from obesity.

Keeping a normal body weight allows us to be much active and efficient in our day to day life span. It also allows the Breathing much easier and also increases the Testosterone Level in the Human Body which affects the sexuality.  Keeping a good Body Weight also protects us from the chronic heart diseases and diabetics. Today we can see many people are suffering from the chronic heart diseases and diabetics for which the Obesity plays a vital role. A recent research has indicated that the People who are suffering from obesity usually get bad tempered than people who have a normal weight. Also the obesity causes sleeping problems to people .

Important Methods  reduce your Body Weight

Method  1 – Reducing your Body Fat with Dietary Changes .

The basic way to reduce the Body Fat is taking some low calorie diets . Monitor how many calories you consume on a daily basis and reduce it by  500 calories each day. This method will result in 1 –  2 pound weight loss per week. But do not try to follow a very lowest calorie diet below 1200 calories because when your calories are too low it may be harmful for your normal weight.

Method 2 – Reducing Body Fat by Regular Exercises .

Regular exercises is very essential to keep a good normal body weight. It will also stimulate the Blood Circulation by which we can prevent Heart Diseases. The Doctors usually approve a one Hour daily exercise which is much beneficial for the Human Body. Those who are unable to go to a Gym can do regular walking and cycling on a daily basis which is much beneficial for the Human Body.

Method 3 – Consume more fresh Fruits and Vegetables .

Consuming more Fresh Fruits and Vegetables is much essential to reduce the Body Weight.

  • It’s generally recommended to consume about five to nine servings of fruits and vegetables each day. Aim for one to two servings of fruit and the rest should be vegetables.[7]
    • Also, when you’re choosing foods from these groups, try to choose items that are brightly colored or darkly colored. These foods are typically more nutrient-dense meaning they contain higher amounts of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.[8] For example, choose kale over iceberg lettuce.
    • Try using vegetables creatively. Try them raw with a dip or in a salad, sauté them on the stove, cook them in a soup, roast them in the oven, grill them outside, or hide them in a smoothie or in spaghetti sauce and serve over spaghetti squash.

In conclusion, I would like to mention that keeping a good body weight is very essential to live a Healthy Life and actively. I urge the relevant Authorities concerned to conduct some awareness Programmes to the General Public on the importance of keeping their BMI rate in the normal position. Otherwise we can see a world full of Patients suffering from Obesity.

Robina Weermeijer

What is “Cardiovascular Disease”?

Cardiovascular Disease(CAD) is a kind of Heart Disease which is commonly suffered by many People in the World. Mainly the Heart and the Blood Vessels are the mostly affected human body parts by this Disease. This is a very dangerous disease which brings death to the Human Body if not properly medicated well. CAD gives the Human Body early signs but some people ignore them due to their negligence. But we are unable to say when will this Disease bring us a sudden death as the Heart is the most sensitive  part of the Human Body and an tiny malfunction of it would bring the Death to us.

“Prevention is better than Cure”   is a famous statement in the Health Care Field. We should always remain vigilant about our Health and should take every opportunity available to prevent our Body from the Diseases. Curing Heart Diseases just like CAD is not an easy work for the Health Care Professionals as it takes much time and continuous medication most probably in whole life time. Despite the fact that the Health Care Sector has been modernized with newly introduced Laboratory facilities and new kind of medications to cure the  Heart Diseases still it is  completely a  hard work, according to the Health Care Professionals. Even if the “Preventing is better than  cure “ is an old statement , it is still a worthy Statement most relevant to the present society. So we should always urge the necessity to prevent our Human Body from the Diseases by being involved in the preventive measures prescribed by the Health Care Professionals.

There are many types of Cardiovascular Diseases (CAD)

  1.  Coronary Artery Diseases ( CAD) , commonly known as Heart Attack.
  2. Hypertensive Heart Disease
  3. Rheumatic Heart Disease
  4. Cardiomyopathy
  5. Heart Arrhyhmia
  6. Congenital Heart Disease
  7. Valyular Heart Disease

Are some of them. But if we are always involved in preventive methods we will be able to overcome all the above mentioned diseases and it is a well proven fact by the Health Care Professionals.

The Early Signs of the Cardiovascular Disease .

There are many  early signs for a considerable number of mostly prevalent diseases among the people except sudden diseases occurred by accidents and  committing suicide attempts. Due to the negligence and the ignorance of people, these early signs are vanished down and a sudden start of a disease only warns people about the risk of diseases like CAD. So we should always take into our consideration that the early signs of a disease should not be ignored or neglected and a consultation of a Doctor is much compulsory to prevent the disease which would otherwise bring a sudden death to people unexpectedly.

The modern Health Care Experts indicate that the all Heart Problems do not occur with clear early signs. The main reason for  this is that some Heart Symptoms do not even happen in your Heart and it is not always easy to tell what is going on.

But following are the most common Early Signs of “ Cardiovascular Disease”

  1. Chest Discomfort.

This is a most common sign in a Heart Failure. If your Heart is not in normal functional state , you will always feel pain, tightness, or some pressure in your chest. But this chest discomfort varies from person to person and it would be intolerable for some people and a nothing but a small pain for some other people.

  • Nausea, Indigestion, Heartburn, or Stomach Pain.

The above signs may also be the early signs of a Heart Attack. Even the vomiting will be occurred under these circumstances. According to the Heart Specialists the women are more likely to be having these types of  symptoms than men,

The stomach Pains are usually happened due to the improper intake of  meals we eat but there is a firm connection between the Stomach Pains and Heart. If you have a stomach pain with the other signs mentioned above it is much better to consult a Doctor as soon as possible.

  • You feel Dizzy or Lightheaded.

If you loss your balance or feel faint for a moment it is likely that your blood pressure has dropped down because your heart is not able to pump sufficient blood than it should be. Most commonly we can have a sudden unsteady status with a chest discomfort with this sign and it clearly shows the malfunctioning of the Heart.

  • Throat or Jaw pain.

The Throat or Jaw pain is probably not connected to any sort of Heart Disease. Usually it is caused by a cold, sinus problem or by a muscular issue.

But the center of your chest is paining with much pressure and spreads up into your throat or jaw, most probably it could be a sign of a Heart Attack.

  • You get exhausted easily.

Extreme exhaustion or unexplained weakness are also some early signs of a Cardiovascular Disease. You will feel suddenly fatigued or winded after doing something, which you had no problem in the past. These are very clear signs of a cardiovascular disease and the a consultation of a Heart Specialist should be done immediately.

      6     Snoring

It is normal to Snore a little while you snooze but unusually loud snoring can be a sign of sleep apnea. If you stop breathing for brief moments several times while you are still sleeping puts extra stress on your Heart.

   7  Sweating

Another early warning of a Heart Disease is the Sweating unusually without no obvious heavy work or reason. According to the Heart Specialists this happens because of the malfunctioning of the Heart and the person gets quickly tired because of the less blood circulation to the vessels.

 8 A Cough that Won’t Quit.

Many of think that the Coughing do not have a firm relationship with the Heart Diseases. But if you have a continuous Cough that produces a white or pink mucus it is a sign of a Heart Failure. The reason for this is the Heart can’t keep up with the Body demand causing blood to leak back into lungs.

9 Legs Feet and Ankles are Swollen,

This sign indicated that your Heart doesn’t pump blood as effectively as it should. This causes Bloating as the Heart can’t pump blood fast and blood backs up in the veins.

10 Irregular Heart Beat.

If your Heart is beating out of time for more than just a few seconds , or if it happens often, then it would also be a sign a Heart Failure. But it is normal for your Heart to race when you are nervous or excited oe to skip or add a beat once in a while.

Reasons for Cardiovascular Diseases.

There are many reasons for Cardiovascular Diseases. Some of these reasons are caused by our busy day to day Schedule , Stress in the working place and due to lack of regular exercises. In the modernized world People are always running in a competitive race to earn much more money. Then there is no time for them to do regular exercises by which we can prevent not only the Cardiovascular Diseases but also other diseases like Diabetics, Cholesterol and so on.

The Dietary intake plays a significant role in the Heart Diseases. If meals full of cholesterol, for instance Meat, Fried Instant Meals like Rolls, Cutlets, and  Alcohol and Tobacco  increase the possibility of the tendency for Heart Diseases.

Genetics is also a cause for Cardiovascular Diseases. Heart Problems in a person’s parents increase the risk in 3 folds. According to the recent Researches women are more likely to be suffering from Cardiovascular Diseases than men on the basis of Genetics. Another commonly known reasons for this cardiovascular diseases can be mentioned as Age, Sex, Air Pollution , Depression and traumatic stress , sleep disorders and occupational exposure to unhealthy conditions.

How to prevent Cardiovascular Diseases.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this Article “The Prevention is better than cure”. So we should take all the precautionary steps to prevent ourselves from these Cardiovascular Diseases which could bring us Death at an unexpected moment.

Regular Exercises play a vital role in preventing cardiovascular diseases. When we do exercises our Blood Circulation is done in a very stimulate manner and the blood starts to flow across the blood vessels with much high pressure  so that if some cholesterol is positioned on the Blood Vessels they are vanished up. Then our Heart is able to pump blood easily and there is no pressure for the Heart distribute blood all over the Body. So there will be no any sort of Cardiovascular diseases to you, if you continue to do some regular exercises.

We should always pay our meticulous attention to the meals we consume which directly affect the tendency of Cardiovascular Diseases. We must consume fresh fruits and  vegetables and  avoid eating cholesterol filled meals  like meat and fried food.

The Health is Wealth so we have to be in  happy and contended working environments and avoid stressful occupational exposure to prevent ourselves from the Cardiovascular Diseases. In conclusion, I urge the relevant Health Care Organizations to come forward without delay to conduct some Awareness Programmes to the General Public on the importance of preventing the Cardiovascular Diseases. Our sole objective is to create a Healthy Future Generation who would work for the entire development and progress of our County. To fulfill this ambition we should work collaboratively with each other with real commitment.

How Modernized Innovations affect our Health

The World is developing tremendously with many modernized innovations. Some of these Innovations are good and beneficial for human life while some other innovations are hazardous. However the  Life has become much easier and more comfortable than earlier and at the same time the cost of living has been increased significantly.

According to the Annual Reports of the World Health Organization (WHO) the Health of the People is drastically reaching to a hazardous position, for which meticulous attention should be paid. The modernized innovations have made our lives easy while producing some hazardous effects to our lives too.. For instance , if we think about the modern IT Technology, it has become a vital component of our day to day lives. We can obtain a vast amount of information through the Internet very easily and conveniently. But there are many sort of bad effects too. The Children specially  teenagers tend to watch Pornography films which exhibit the Nudity. This sort of Children are likely to be suffering from Sadism and the final act is producing a Future Generation who are abnormally suffering from extreme sadism and involved in criminal sexuality. Many Parents have a   habit of gifting a Computer with the Internet Facility to their Children with the sole objective of uplifting their Education. But most of these Parents are unaware of bad consequences of this Technology. Also these Children get addicted to the Computer Video Games, so that they neglect the studies and most of them fail their term exams. Ultimately most of these Children are likely to be suffering from Psychological disorders for which parents have to seek the support of Psychiatrists. See how the modernized innovations affect our lives with much bad consequences !!!.

So considering the above facts, we can ascertain that the modernized innovations could be harmful to the Human Health. Another fact is that most parents are suffering from a Rat Race to enroll their Children to the High Schools which provide some modernized innovations to the School Children. These Parents usually have two ambitions. One is improving the education level of the children and other is the proudness and reputation which is mostly desired by the Parents. But the innocent Children face a lot of inconvenience and stress at the so called high schools and sometimes they are unable to perform wel

l in studies due to their mental condition. Even if the so called high schools are well equipped with many modernized innovations it would indirectly affect the Health and well being of the School Children.

So considering all the above facts we can come to a conclusion that, the People have to take some medications for the psychological disorders caused by the modernized innovations. We urgently have to find a timely solution to this problem and otherwise we can see an ill-fated future generation, who will be unable to lead a Healthy Life without medications. At first, I have to say that, we must take some precautionary steps to the utilization of modernized innovations while paying the meticulous attention on how to utilize it for our benefit. When consider about the IT Technology, we should use it for the important work, instead of using it for the bad things like pornographic films. The Parents should also remain vigilant about the usage of computer by their children and should advise them to use the computers for the educational purposes only.

However I do not mean that we should completely eliminate the modernized innovations , but we should use them for the improvement and convenience of our lives in a systematic manner. The Human Body needs relax and contentment to be Healthy and also the intake of fresh fruits and vegetable keeps the human body much healthy. The Blender is a modern equipment introduced for mixing the fruits and vegetable conveniently. But according to the recent Researches when we blender the fruits and vegetables the nutritious level of them gets much low. So the better thing is mixing them naturally as done our grandparents who lived in an ear where Blenders were not available.

In conclusion, I would like to urge the relevant Authorities to take necessary actions to conduct some awareness programmes for the General Public on how to use the modernized innovations for a Healthy Life without affecting the normality of the Humans .
